8.2.6 Settings

Myron has a small number of settings that select alternative layouts for the fast-action bar and keyboard. These are controlled through the Preferences display, initiated via System Settings .

Shortcut controls whether the settings shortcut is enabled. When enabled, the Myron icon in the algebra workspace acts as a button that makes changes to layouts. The shortcut applies to the keyboard if it is visible and to the fast-action bar otherwise. Each touch of the button cycles through to the next option available.

Keyboard Size selects from among eight keyboard sizes.

Fast Action Bar selects between normal and condensed layouts. In condensed mode, the text buttons on the action bar use abbreviated labels. Use this mode when the display has small screen sizes.
